The Koshino house is located in Ashiya, a small town located between Osaka and Kobe two major urban centers in Japan.  I think this house is significant because how light and shadows are a part of the house. The buildings are 3 simple shapes but the way they are located is that makes it unique. The view from the inside of the house to the outside is beautiful and that’s part of what makes it great. The way the light of the sun shines into the house and makes shadows is another great thing. Tadao Ando likes the nature and maybe the buildings are not natural looking but they interact with the nature by the way he made openings for the sun to light the part of the house and the big windows witch show the beauty of the landscape
